Breathers At The Ready

Do you like to read? Do you enjoy reading books about dystopian societies that may or may not come true? Do you enjoy a good fight scene...well if you do, then I have the perfect book for you! It's called

The Treemakers by Christina L. Rozelle

(Old Cover = Left, New Cover = Right)

and it is a magnificent, one-of-a-kind book that will most definitely rip your heart out, your face off, and maybe even pierce your soul! (don't look out the window or you'll loose an arm)

When she wrote this book, she wasn't going to half ass it with small details of how bad the treemakers have it! She was fully devoted in making this book gritty, heart wrenching, mind-blowing, and all together extraordinary with a story untold that unfolds in the blink of an eye.

Read how Joy and her friends try to battle with "The Superiors", the people in charge of the treemakers, and what steps it takes to get to safety! Do they make it or will the fall to their deaths by the maniacal beings that hold them in their quarters that aren't fit for any human to be sleeping in.

Joy quickly makes new friends that help her along her journey in order to save her brothers and sisters! Will she win in this battle for freedom to a new world or will the evil keep coming back to restrain them from a last breath of what life could be like. Will love help her escape the horrible world that Bygonne has become or will her and her siblings forever be trapped in the dungeon with "Jumpers"?

Topics you'll see in the book:
1: Why Arriana Superior is strange?
2: What does the butterfly on the book symbolize?
3: Who is the light that paves the way to freedom?
4: What true magic means to each person!
5: What's a jumper and why do they try to kill you?
6: What lives in the forest isn't as cuddly as a kitten!
7: Painting is important!
8: Everyone needs friendship to survive!
9: Nothing is as it seems or is it?
10: Trees are important!

I believe that this book could potentially happen if we don't take care of our world. The earth is an important place because it's our home as well as the home to animals. If we destroy trees then we will die, please stop tearing down tress and start planting more!  I don't want to have to breath out of oxygen tanks when I'm already able to breathe just fine. I don't know about you, but I don't want to make trees out of metal just to survive when I could read about it.

This novel has found a place in my heart that I will forever keep! I love this book so much and can't wait for the second one to come out!

So, its time for another giveaway! Who wants to win a copy of this beautiful piece of art? All you have to do is leave a comment below containing the following responses:
1: What fictional book do you believe could potentially come true?
2: Do you believe in magic? If so, where does it come from?

The Original date: I will choose the winner on May 18th, 2015 at about 10pm EST!

Do you feel the Ghostly presence?

Have you ever been HAUNTED by a ghost or know someone who has? Are you a fan of the paranormal or do you simply get scared too much to enjoy the antics that are at hand when people bring up the dead? Do you believe in the paranormal or that someone can come back from the dead to play tricks on the living? Do you enjoy reading? Well I've got news for you, I know the perfect book that will leave you wishing for more!

Haunted by Janae Mitchell

(Left = Original Cover, Right = New Cover)

Book Bio: Being haunted isn't always a bad thing... as long as you can survive it.

Jacynda Johnson is trying to start over again. After a traumatic break-up with her rocker boyfriend, Billy Jakes, which devastated her, things seem to finally be looking up. Being promoted to the managing position at the upscale salon she works at, she is finally able to move out of the apartment she shared with Billy and away from the bad memories, as well as the good ones that she still longs for. She is determined to erase him from her life and make new memories—better memories—without him.

As luck would have it, she comes across a small house in one of the historic neighborhoods in Knoxville, TN, that seems perfect for her; it's close to her work, within her budget, and having been empty for a while, it's like it was just waiting for her to buy it.

Little did she know, it was.

Jacynda, in my opinion, is such a beautiful character. Janae really established her character to the point that I missed her so much when I finished the book. I wish that there would be a 2nd book to this wonderfully written novella. Her love for ghosts shines through all her books which have a ghost revolving around the story somehow. I've never really been one that believes in the paranormal, but Janae has hooked me into the YA fictional aspect of it all! Her talented works will rip you to the ground and make you plead for more of the wonders that she displays in each and every one. This novella is just a small piece of just how magnificent her writing really is.

So, who wants to have a chance to win a copy of this beautiful creation? I know that you do! Here are the rules for my giveaway. Comment at the bottom of the blog with the following:

1: Do you believe in the paranormal?

2: Have you ever seen a ghost or know someone that has? What happened?

3: Do you have a favorite movie or book that revolves around ghost?

Come back on Monday May 18th to find out who the winner is!

MAGIC Transcends the Generations

Witches! What are they? Why do some people dispise the likes of witches even though most of them are not here to do nefarious things? They are pleasant beings that are initially human yet have a special trait passed down from a previous generation or come in contact with an object that makes them one.

People are just crazy, don't they know that Magic exists because of them? If we didn't have witches then we wouldn't have magic or rather a seeable, concentrated version. According to lore, some witches feed off the magic that humans call love, greed, hatred, betrayal, etc etc... It powers them to make it easier to take down their prey by targeting the prey's weakest point. It's a sad way to go, but everything happens for a reason, right? Right! (These are the bad witches)

However, the good ones, they help the weak and feeble because those groups of people are unfortunately too human to help themselves. They are there to make life easier for everyone.

Do you ever glance at the flowers outside your window pane or stroll through the forest full of life? Do you ever smile when you see the beautiful pastels of the petals or hear the hum of bees a wing beat away from a pollen trip? Well my friend, that is magic. Yep, you heard it right. It's magic!

Magic lives deep down inside of us, yet it sometimes make take a certain cataclysmic event (in our lives) in order for the dormant forces to flow from our unlocked souls. Each person has a different magical fingerprint from the next, which means, no two are alike. It may be hard to tell, but sometimes they even have a aurasphere or color that cast or surrounds the flowing magic. Every persons aura is a different pattern than another because the person next to you could in fact contain more love or hatred in their heart than yourself. That being said, let's talk about control.

Beginner witches may not know how much magic to exude from their body, magical staff/wand if you're a wizard, or finger tip when first discovering one's powers... they'll learn over time with practice and confidence. If a witch is scared then his or her magic may not even work because fear hinders many aspects of the mind and body. With fear comes self doubt which blocks the internal magic flow or might even cause an error with the spell. No one wants to mess up a spell, so practice, believing in oneself, and meditation are key to gaining the most positive magic outlet as possible. When a witch or wizard is one with their magic, nothing is impossible.

Growing up, I always loved to watch shows about Witches. My top 2 shows that revolved around witches were "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" and "Charmed". It was so spectacular to see how they used magic to defeat their enemies (Charmed) and learned life lessons along with their magic training (STTW). If I had to choose a favorite though, STTW would be the number one contender. Sabrina was always so amazing and it showed that no matter if you were made of magic, love was always the best magic that would win. Even if you lost your powers (which happened in several episodes), your family was the only real magic!

I was even able to meet the beautiful Melissa Joan Hart that playing the famous Sabrina in Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I traveled all the way to Tuscaloosa which was a 5 hour round trip from my house to get her to sign my book. (Pictures are attached below!)

Now lets talk about books! My number one series that revolves around witches was Hex Hall, but the book series that is soon to replace it is... *Drum Roll Please*

The Sister's Crimoire by my lovely friend Suza Kates!

It's such a beautiful novella that introduces the Whitburn sisters and how they came across their magical powers. With the help of their Uncle and Grandad, they will find out why they are witches and how they will defeat the enemies that come to destroy them. Will they find out why? Do they discover that working together will in fact save them? What became of their precious mother all those years ago? You'll find out all the answers to these questions and more in this action packed, heart pumping, coffee drinking witch novella that will have you quenched and still begging for more! Grab your copy today before they start flying off the shelves thanks to their own magical abilities!

I met Mrs. Suza Kates for the first time last August (I do believe) to have coffee and an interview with her. She was such a beautiful person and her soul was just as lovely. She is such a genuine lady that loves from her heart and has a passion that is unlike anyone that I've ever met. You can just seek the imagination within her eyes bursting to life.

Talking with her was a mind-blowing event that I was shellshocked for pretty much the whole entire interview! I felt like the luckiest person ever! She made me feel like a special reader and to this day, we are still friends! I'm so lucky to be able to be on her street team and be a fan! She's a marvelous lady with a fantastic eye for all things MagiC!

If you want to read book that meshes love, magic, and the journey of finding oneself then this is the book for you! You'll learn so many things from the Whitburn sisters that you too will be consumed with the power of love.

Magic is in the Air, wait, or is it MUD?

The Truth About Mud “A Mangleblood Rose Story” by Christina L. Rozelle

What do you think of when you hear the word "Trolls"? I know! There are two images that come to mind!

One: You imagine a gruesome beast that lives under a bridge to torment people as they cross.

Two: You think of those creepy/cute A$$ dolls that that have a mini baby body with weird colored hair!

Neither of those images explain what they look like in this mysterious tale.

CLR has a way with words! I must say, I never thought that I’d love a book by anyone as much as I have by her. Her words are such loving caresses to my eyes as a hug is to the heart!

This was a lovely novella about a whole new world created by the love a lady had for Trolls. TTAM is a wonderful little book of happiness that springs to life in the palm of your hand. Thistle and Fane are the most cute, little trolls that anyone could make friend with. Did I forget to mention that they are pudgy? Yes, they’re pudgy! I’d love to make friends with them, but I would pass on shaking their hands because trolls wipe their snot on their hands when they shake!

Also, there is magic in this new breathtaking world! MUD! You heard it right folks mud is magical. I can’t tell you how, but it’s been thought to help a certain species! ;)

Crows! Can they be trusted or will they seek to destroy the one thing that trolls so deeply love? You’ll just have to read in order to find out for yourself!

This book struck deep into my heart and latched on just like a remora does to a shark. It’s so comforting to know that such a book will forever be burned into my memory as this one has. It reminds me of the move “A Troll In Central Park” with its witty and whimsical notions of how trolls survive in the unknown world.

Several things to find out in this tale:

What’s blooming day?
Do Trolls practice combat?
How do the ones that know magic get the magic from?
What type of government do they have? Monarchy? Queen? King?
What not to say to a crow!
What’s beyond “The Clearing”?
Why are Trolls afraid of “The Mangleblood River”?
Crows?

You’ll just have to read to find out all the questions that will continue to fester under your skin!

Now we come to a close with a contest! I’m offering not 1, not 2, not 3 But 4 copies of this wonderful book up for grabs to readers that love a great fairytale! Please tell me in the comments below the following:

1: If you could go on a road trip (or plane) where would you go, and why?
2: Do you believe in MAGIC?
3: Who is your favorite author?
